Filip Prostran
Head Coach

The 2016 season is Filip Prostran's second as head coach of the Ryerson Rams men's soccer program.

In 2015, his first season in the lead role, Prostran led the Rams to an impressive 11-2-3 regular season record and a first place finish in the OUA East division. Ryerson advanced to the OUA Final Four for the third straight year and were ranked in the CIS weekly top 10 poll for the entire season, peaking at a program best No. 2.

Before moving into the head coach position, Prostran served as an assistant coach with the Rams for five seasons, beginning in August of 2010.

In 2013, Prostran helped guide Ryerson to their best ever finish including an undefeated regular season and second place finish at the OUA Championship. Their success earned them a trip to the CIS national championship in Fredricton, N.B.

Prior to his arrival at Ryerson, the USSF B licensed Prostran played professional soccer for three years in Europe.

He also attended Graceland University, playing four seasons with Kevin Souter, former coordinator of both the Rams men's and women's soccer teams.

Prostran graduated from Graceland with a B.A. in Business Administration in 2007.
