Jordan Burke announced as Rams' second recruit
TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams women’s soccer team announced Tuesday that Jordan Burke will join the team for the upcoming varsity season, named as the second commitment of the 2018-19 recruiting class.
Burke, a defender from Whitby, Ont., played the 2017-18 season with the Oshawa Kicks of the Ontario Women’s Soccer League’s (OWSL) Provincial Elite. Prior to her time in Oshawa, Burke played for the Pickering Soccer Club for eight years.
A Sinclair S.S. graduate, Burke played her high school soccer with the Sinclair Celtics. Selected as team captain in her freshman year, Burke was also named the team’s most significant contributor in three of her four seasons.
Burke self-describes as a determined, hard-working, and encouraging athlete who is always willing to go the extra mile.
Burke will begin her studies in Ryerson’s undeclared arts program in September.
