TORONTO - Uchenna Ofoha, a recent graduate of the Rams men's volleyball team, has signed his first professional contract with Kokkolan Tiikerit of the Mestaruusliiga, the top professional league in Finland.

Ofoha was named an OUA First-Team All-Star this past season after posting a career-high 177 points and 69 total blocks in his final year. He set the Rams single-season record for most blocks in a season with those 69 blocks in 2016-17.

The civil engineering graduate finished his Rams career 2nd all-time in total blocks (192), 14th all-time in points (457.5), and 15th all-time in kills (298). 

Ofoha was a member of the Rams OUA silver medal winning team in 2015-16 that qualified for the CIS national tournament for the first time in program history.

Kokkolan plays out of Kokkola, Finland and has won three of the past five Mestaruusliiga championships including the 2013, 2015 and 2016 seasons.
