By Andrea Elliott

TORONTO - The Ryerson University Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce Natalie Bukovec as the new head coach of the women's soccer program, effective immediately.

Bukovec has been associated with the Rams women's program since 2016, serving initially as assistant coach and recruitment coordinator, and then this past year, interim head coach. Prior to joining Ryerson, Bukovec was an assistant coach with McMaster University's women's soccer program for two years.

In addition to her university experience, Bukovec has also worked with Toronto High Park Football Club where she was assistant coach for the girls U14 Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) team, and she is currently working with the Richmond Hill Soccer Club with the U15-17 age groups.

As interim head coach this past year, Bukovec made major strides in rebuilding the team and positioning it for future success. Her passion for the sport and her commitment to her student-athletes' overall success was evident in every aspect of her program.
