Michelle Janus began working with the women's hockey team in September of 2010, when they were known as the Ryerson Stingers, as a skills coach.  She will continue as an assistant with the new Ryerson Rams as they enter their inaugural year in OUA/CIS competition.

Janus, who played abroad in England and Sweden for two seasons, earned a diploma from Mohawk College in Advertising and Marketing Communications while balancing her career in the Provincial Women's Hockey League (PWHL).  She hopes to pursue further education in Sport Marketing.

Janus is also an NCCP certified coach and a level three official in the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA).  She sits on the board of executives for her regional referees association.
