Adam Ali became the Sports Information Specialist for Ryerson Athletics and Recreation in July of 2011. 

Ali previously worked part-time for Ryerson as a sports information assistant from September 2010 to April 2011. 

Ali also served as the interim coordinator of intercollegiate events at the University of Toronto in the spring of 2011, and previously worked as a work-study sports information writer for the Varsity Blues in the 2009-10 season. 

In addition, he also worked as the student event coordinator for intercollegiate volleyball and basketball home games from 2008 to 2010 within the Faculty of Physical Education and Health, and has served as a football statistician for a number of OUA schools over the last five seasons. 

He has been involved in the planning and operations of two CIS National Soccer Championships in 2009 and 2010 respectively and also volunteered for the Festival of Excellence in June of 2009. 

Ali graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health in 2010, and was inducted into the R. Tait Mackenzie Society after achieving an "A" average upon a full course load. 

As an athlete, Ali has played with the Canadian men's indoor field hockey team, and is a two-time Indoor Pan American Cup champion.  He has also participated in two Indoor World Cups in 2007 and 2011.
