TORONTO- Whitby, Ont. native Nicole Haynes has made the commitment to Ryerson Rams women's soccer.

The product of Sinclair S.S. and Oshawa Turul S.C. is a multiple CGSL champion and has found success at both the club and high school level over the past four seasons. Haynes has garnered a most valuable player award as well as being named Sinclair's captain, and is on track to become an Ontario Scholar in her final high school year.

"I chose Ryerson because of its incredible reputation for photography studies and I feel this program is second to none," said Haynes. "Athletically, the school's various sports continue to grow competitively versus other Ontario universities. Together these two reasons made Ryerson University my number one choice."

"Nicole is a player who will transition seamlessly into the growing women's soccer program," said Soccer Co-ordinator Kevin Souter. "Her technical ability and tactical understanding are at a level that will allow her to contribute significantly during the upcoming season and beyond. Her personal nature, family support, and determination will ensure she will be a success."
