TORONTO- The Ryerson Rams women's soccer program is proud to announce the commitment of Whitby, Ont. native Rebecca Arnott.

The 5'7'' midfielder out of Anderson Collegiate and Vocational Institute is a three-time CGSL divisional winner, and is an assistant captain with the Raiders. She has also garnered the most assists over the past three seasons with the Oshawa Turul Titans soccer club, and qualified for the OFFSAA cross country championships.

"I chose Ryerson because of the amazing opportunities I have in my academics as well as my athletics," said Arnott. "I feel right at home in the busy downtown atmosphere and I am very excited to lace up my cleats and represent the Ryerson Rams in blue and gold."

"Rebecca shows tremendous work-rate on both sides of the ball which is a natural trait," said Soccer Coordinator Kevin Souter. "Her understanding of the midfield position and awareness with the ball will help in her development as a Ryerson Ram."
