The nine goals against is the most the Rams have allowed dating back to an 8-0 loss in the 2003 season.
Queen's striker Jackie Tessier (Winnipeg, Man.) scored in the 26th minute and within twelve minutes had completed a hat trick to give the Gaels a 3-0 lead. With the three goals, Tessier takes over as the OUA's scoring leader.
Two quick strikes in the 41st and 42nd minutes from Brittany Almeida (Elginburg, Ont.) and Monique Czaczkowski (Thunder Bay, Ont.) closed out the first half with Queen's ahead by five.
Almeida added two more goals in the second half to complete a hat trick of her own, while Breanna Burton (Ottawa, Ont.) scored twice to round out the scoring.
The Rams return to Toronto to face the Varsity Blues at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14. The match is the final road game for the Rams as they close out their season at home the following weekend.
