Mark Corbett (Burlington, Ont.) is this week's Boston Pizza Male Athlete of the Week. The second year defenceman with the Rams hockey team continues to lead the Rams with four points through four games. Corbett scored his first goal on Saturday night, tipping home a waist-high pass. His four points ties him for sixth most among OUA defencemen. Corbett has also been sturdy in his own zone and disciplined, having yet to take a penalty this season.

This week's Boston Pizza Female Athlete of the Week is Veronica Livingston (Kelowna, B.C.). The first year player on the women's volleyball team had a dominant performance at the net in the Rams 3-1 upset victory over No. 5 nationally ranked Toronto. Livingston recorded six blocks and seven kills in her OUA debut. Her six solo blocks ranks her second in OUA action, despite playing just four sets. The 6-foot tall rookie went toe-to-toe at the net with one of Toronto's fifth year players for much of the match and won a lot of the battles, finishing with 13 points. Livingston's performance also helped the Rams extend their home opener streak as they have now won their last five straight home openers.
