Graham Wise enters his seventh season as head coach of the Ryerson University men's hockey team in 2012-13.

The 14th head coach in team history, Wise was hired in August of 2006 to turn around a program that won a combined five games in the three seasons prior to his arrival.

In 2011-12, Wise led Ryerson to a 13-12-3 record and 29 points. The 13 victories ties the Ryerson mark for wins in a season set by the 1988-89 Rams, who were 13-12-1. The 29 points is the most recorded in a single season by the Rams. It is also the first time in 23 years that the team has posted a winning record.

The Rams 2011-12 roster featured 18 new players, and 27 of 28 Rams are eligible to return for the 2012-13 season.

In 2010-11, Wise guided the Rams to one of their best ever starts with a 4-1 record, helping the team crack the CIS weekly Top 10 media poll on October 19.  Ryerson had only received votes twice previously in their team's history, and had never been ranked in 444 polls from 1979-80 to 2009-10.

In 2009-10, Wise led Ryerson to the OUA East semi-finals after finishing with the second highest win total in team history. The Rams qualified for the playoffs for the first time in seven seasons and surprised the third seed Toronto Varsity Blues in the opening round, claiming their first playoff series victory since 2002. At the end of the season, Wise was named OUA East Coach of the Year.

In his second year at Ryerson, Wise led the Rams to their third best season ever with 21 points.

Wise spent 19 years as head coach of the York University men's hockey program before making the move to Ryerson. During that time, he led his team to 13 division titles, five conference championships, two OUA championships and two national titles. A four-time OUA coach of the year, Wise has a career regular season record of 278-257-68 and is among the CIS leaders in career victories.

As a player, Wise skated for the Toronto Marlies before spending four seasons at Michigan Tech, where he earned a tryout with the NHL's New York Islanders. He concluded his playing days as a CIS champion with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.
