Margaret Jennings joined the Ryerson women's hockey team as an assistant coach in 2015-16 season.
Jennings has a Development 1 and ICYA Certification and brings nine years of coaching experience to the Rams. She served as head coach of the Willowdale Red Wings Midget AA team while also serving as an assistant coach to the Leaside Jr. Wildcats in the PWHL. Jennings also spent four years as a defensive coach and skills instructor at Premier Elite Athletes' Collegiate (PEAC) school.
Jennings and Rams head coach Lisa Haley coached a team of U16 Aboriginal girls from across Canada in the summer of 2018 with the hopes of providing hockey-related opportunities to Indigenous girls from remote Canadian communities. The team was a part of documentary television series called ‘Hit the Ice.'
Jennings attended Princeton University where she played two seasons for the Tigers.
Outside of coaching the Rams, Jennings owns and operates Grindstone Hockey, an organization specializing in hockey skill development through private, small group, and team training sessions and camps throughout Ontario.
