Margaret Jennings joined the Ryerson women's hockey team as an assistant coach in the 2015-16 season.
Jennings has her HP1 and ICYA Certification and brings over ten years of coaching experience to the Rams. She served as head coach of the Willowdale Red Wings Midget AA team while also serving as an assistant coach to the Leaside Jr. Wildcats in the PWHL. Jennings also spent four years as a defensive coach and skills instructor at Premier Elite Athletes' Collegiate (PEAC) school.
At the provincial level, Jennings has coached with the U18 Team Ontario program at the national championships for the past two year, and will be part of Team Ontario's coaching staff at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in February.
Jennings and Rams head coach Lisa Haley coached a team of U16 Aboriginal girls from across Canada in the summer of 2018 with the hopes of providing hockey-related opportunities to Indigenous girls from remote Canadian communities. The team was a part of documentary television series called ‘Hit the Ice.'
Jennings attended Princeton University where she played two seasons for the Tigers.
