After spending the 2016-17 season as the assistant coach, Albert Dell'Apa took over as the second head coach in Rams cross country program history in 2017-18. He remains an assistant coach with the track and field team.
For more than 15 years, Dell'Apa has been coaching runners at all skill levels, from recreational runners to Boston marathon qualifiers and beyond. He is NCCP certified and is the founder and coach of Raging Bull Road Runners in Toronto.
Dell'Apa is a two-time CIS All-Canadian and three-time OUA all-star for cross country running as well as a two-time MVP of the York University cross country team. Dell'Apa was also a bronze medallist for the OUA indoor 3000m while running track at York.
Albert was a member of several Canadian championship gold medal winning cross country and road racing teams at both the university and open level and was formerly the 7th ranked marathon runner in Canada.
