Williams and Mukama named Athletes of the Week

By Andrea Elliott

St. Louis Bar & Grill Athletes of the Week

The first #DevilishlyGood St. Louis Bar & Grill Athlete of the Week is JV Mukama (Hamilton, Ont.) of the men's basketball team. The fourth year guard was a consistent scorer during the first week of the Rams playoff run. On Wednesday night Mukama scored 24 points and added three rebounds in a dominant win over Queen's to move on to the OUA quarter-final. There, Mukama just missed out on a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds in the Rams win over Ottawa to send Ryerson back to the OUA semifinal. Mukama and the Rams will travel to Brock to take on the Badgers on Wednesday night with a berth to the Wilson Cup championship game and the U SPORTS national tournament on the line.

Bronwyn Williams (Toronto) is our second #DevilishlyGood St. Louis Bar & Grill Athlete of the Week. The second year forward with the women's basketball team had a strong week to end the season. In the Rams first round playoff game Williams contributed six points and six rebounds in a win over York before posting a new career-high on Saturday evening. In the OUA quarter-final, Williams collected 18 points and added seven rebounds as the Rams fell to the unbeaten and top-ranked Carleton Ravens to close the season.

Both athletes receive a $25 gift certificate to St. Louis Bar & Grill.
