Rams finish seventh at OUA Championship

ALYMER, Ont. - The Ryerson Rams figure skating team finished seventh at the 2018 OUA championship hosted by the Western Mustangs.

The Rams picked up two medals, including a gold medal performance from Netta Schreiber in the women's novice short program, and a silver medal skate from Chris Berneck in the men's freeskate. Both medals came on day one of competition.

Ryerson sat seventh after day one and were unable to move up the standings, earning just seven additional points on day two.

Final Standings:
1. Toronto - 88 points
2. Western - 84
3. Brock - 48
4. McMaster - 45
5. Guelph - 42
6. Queen's - 35
7. Ryerson - 25
8. Carleton - 21
9. Waterloo - 2
