Kingston, Ont.- The Ryerson Rams men's soccer team overcame a two-goal deficit in the second half to manage a 2-2 draw with the Queen's Gaels on Saturday afternoon.

Toronto native Viktor Anastasov continues to be a catalyst for the Rams (2-1-2), as the sophomore scored both goals to secure Ryerson's second comeback tie in less than a week.

The Rams also equalized last Sunday's match against the Toronto Varsity Blues thanks to a Vince D'Elia (Vaughan, Ont.) header in the dying moments to gain a point.

Sebastien Novais (Oakville, Ont.) and Ashkan Mahboubi (Pickering, Ont.) drew an assist on the first and second goal respectively.

Anastasov is tied for first place in the OUA East division after tallying a total of six markers through the first five matches of the year.

The men hit the field again tomorrow, meeting the RMC Paladins (0-5-0) for the first time this season.  The Paladins are coming off a 7-0 loss at the hands of the Varsity Blues earlier today.  A victory could push the Rams as high as second-place in the OUA East standings by the end of the weekend.

The match will take place at 3:15 p.m. at Navy Bay Soccer Field.
