TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams women's basketball program continues adding depth at the post position.  A month after welcoming three forwards, all of whom are over six feet tall, Interim Head Coach Charles Kissi is proud to announce the commitment of Montreal native Annie Bourdeau.

Standing at 6'1'', Bourdeau will assist on the defensive side of the ball, and will also help the Rams address the rebounding issue that at times hurt them throughout the 2010-11 season.  The aerospace engineering major has three years of experience in Quebec's "AAA" College Ligue, playing her past two seasons with St. Lambert Champlain.  She also dressed for the "AAA" L'Express du Nord for two years while in high school.

"I chose to continue evolving as a student-athlete at Ryerson because I know this university will provide me with a wonderful experience," said Bourdeau.  "I expect to grow as a person as well as an athlete (during my time here)."

Kissi is excited about the advantages that Bourdeau brings to both ends of the court.  "Annie is talented offensively and will fit in well. She has a tremendous upside and potential for rapid growth in the OUA. I look forward to seeing her in a Rams uniform."
