TORONTO - Ryerson University women's basketball is pleased to announce that NBA Shooting Consultant Dave Love will be running a day of clinics for young Toronto basketball players on Friday, September 21.

Coach Love has worked for the Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder and Tulsa 66ers (NBA D-League), as well as being the University of Calgary Shooting Coach for eight years. He is regarded as one of the top shooting coaches in North America and has been running clinics across Canada for ten years. This is an opportunity for young players ages 11+ to learn from one of the best!

Some of the players that Coach Love has worked with include NBA players Grant Hill, Louis Amundson, Ryan Reid and DeShawn Stevenson, as well as CIS all-time leading scorer Boris Bakovic and various National team players. The players in attendance will hear stories about these players and the work they have done to improve, plus leave with a checklist of details to carry with them in their development.

If you are interested in helping out at this event as an instructor, Coach Love is in need of coaching help at the clinic. If you would like to be on the floor assisting and learning yourself, please contact Dave at dave.love@theloveofthegame.com.

Space at these clinics will be limited, so sign up early! To sign up and get more information, visit www.theloveofthegame.com. Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone else that you think might be interested in attending.
