TORONTO- One day after donning the Ryerson Rams jersey for the last time, midfielder Andrea Raso topped off her university soccer career by earning a conference all-star for a record fifth time. The Etobicoke, Ont. native received the honour on Thursday when Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced the East division major award winners and all-stars.

With the all-star nod, Raso has now being recognized by the OUA in every season she's played with Ryerson. The 2007 East division rookie of the year was also named a second-team CIS all-Canadian in 2008, and has recorded 19 goals in her five seasons with the Rams.

The co-captain led Ryerson to one of its best seasons in program history this fall. The women tallied a record six victories and earned a playoff berth for the first time since 2007. Raso tallied six goals this season for the Rams, tying an individual-high in a single season. She also recorded six markers in her rookie year in 2007.

The women's season ended on Wednesday evening when they were defeated 3-0 by the Toronto Varsity Blues in the first round of the OUA playoffs.
