TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams rowing team completed another successful season in the fall of 2010, culminating with their participation in the OUA championships in St. Catharine's at the end of October. 

The season began with the Head of the Trent on Saturday, October 2, which is the largest single day regatta in North America.  Second-year Ben Murphy competed in the heavyweight single event, posting a time of 23:54.52.  Robert Kania and Josh Aube competed in lightweight doubles, while senior Allison Loosley finished the lightweight singles in 23:50.60. 

The Rams then travelled to St. Catharine's for the Brock Invitational on October 16, the same location as the OUA championships which would take place in two weeks time.  The men finished fifth in the lightweight singles, doubles and heavyweight singles.  The women also placed fifth in lightweight singles. 

Ryerson's season came to a close in the last weekend of October at OUA's where their best result was a fourth place finish in the men's lightweight singles.  The Rams also competed in men's heavyweight singles, doubles and eights, as well as the women's lightweight singles.
