HAMILTON- The Ryerson Rams badminton team dominated the leader board at the McMaster Invitational this past Saturday, where they competed against the host Marauders and Queen's Gaels at the one-day invitational.

Rookie Seyed Modaresi (Toronto) and Clare Cheung (North York, Ont.) each finished first in the men's and women's singles events, while Fabienne Chan (Richmond Hill, Ont.) and Matthew Pang (Mississauga) combined for gold in the mixed doubles.

Chan and Samantha Tang (Ajax, Ont.) also topped the podium in women's doubles.  Kyle Wong Chew Onn (Markham, Ont.) and Pang took home second place honours in men's doubles.

The pair of Wong Chew Onn and Tang also grabbed third-place in mixed doubles. 

The Rams will take part in the York Invitational next Sunday, February 26 and wrap up their preparation at Toronto on March 2.

The OUA Championships take place from March 16-18 at the University of Toronto.
