MONTREAL - The Ryerson Rams women's hockey team wrapped up the three-day Theresa Humes Tournament with a 4-2 loss at the hands of the Carleton Ravens. With the loss, the Rams finish the tournament, which was hosted by the Concordia Stingers, with a record of 1-2.
The Rams scoring was started by Emily Rose Galliani Pecchia with Jessica Hartwick and Stephanie Chiste picking up assists. Monique Cornett from Maddison Clouthier scored the Rams second goal before the Ravens went on a scoring spree, tallying four unanswered goals.
The goaltending situation was split on Saturday evening between Dana Carson and Emma Crawley, who combined, faced 24 shots, each allowing two goals. The Rams were able to fire 25 shots on the Ravens net.
The Rams resume regular season play on January 12, when they host the Waterloo Warriors at the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens. Game time is 4 p.m.
