LONDON, Ont. - The Ryerson Rams lost their 17th straight game as they fell 4-1 to the Western Mustangs on Saturday afternoon.

The Rams (2-18-1) jumped out to an early lead as Mackenzie Manning scored a shorthanded marker 1:57 into the game. The goal was Manning's third of the season, but it was the Rams lone goal of the game.

From there it was all Mustangs (15-5-1) as Western took advantage of an undisciplined Rams team with four unanswered goals. Katelyn Gosling scored two goals while Tara Cation and Jessica Ross each netted one in the win. The Rams gave up 11 power play chances and conceded one goal.

Emma Crawley stopped nine of 13 shots while her counterpart, Olivia Ross, saved 16 of 17.

The Rams travel to Windsor tomorrow to play the Lancers at 4:10 p.m.
