By Sports Information
TORONTO - The Ryerson DancePak completed their competition season this past weekend at the Rhythm University Dance Challenge in Milton. The team competed in three back-to-back-to-back weekend competitions against 18 to 21 other Canadian collegiate dance teams. All three competitions proved to be intense and highly competitive.

Highlights of the team’s competition results include their large contemporary group, choreographed by captains Sacha Lank and Zoe George, taking 4th overall in the large group division of 50 and the team going on to finish as the 6th overall team out of 18 at Strive’s University Dance Challenge. The team also made their competitive hip hop debut this season with a crowd pleasing number choreographed by second year Jade Espejo. The hip hop group finished top-two in its category at every competition, finally capturing the 1st place finish during the final weekend as well as a coveted Judge’s Choice Award.
