St. Louis Bar & Grill Athletes of the Week
The first #DevilishlyGood St. Louis Bar & Grill Athlete of the Week is Cavin Leth (Taber, Alta.) of the men's hockey team. The first year forward had a six goal, seven point week for the Rams and set a new scoring record in the process. Leth netted a goal and an assist against Brock on Wednesday and added another goal in Friday's win over Toronto. On Sunday, Leth erupted for a natural hat-trick in the first period before adding an empty-netter for his fourth goal of the game. Leth became the first freshman to score four goals in a game and just the third in team history. The first year forward now sits second in team scoring with 13 points which is also good for 8th in the OUA.
Sofia Paska (Etobicoke, Ont.) is our other #DevilishlyGood St. Louis Bar & Grill Athlete of the Week. The fourth year forward with the women's basketball team asserted her dominance on home court this week as the Rams won their first two games on Coca-Cola Court this season. On Wednesday, Paska scored 18 points and recorded six steals and three rebounds in 26 minutes of play. Then on Friday, Paska recorded her first double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Rams defeated No. 7 ranked McMaster. Paska is now averaging 16.4 points per game to rank 6th in the OUA.
Both athletes receive a $25 gift certificate to St. Louis Bar & Grill.
