DiTomaso joins Rams for 2017-18

TORONTO - Defenceman Greg DiTomaso is the latest to commit to the Ryerson Rams men's hockey team for the 2017-18 season, bringing the current total to three signed recruits.

DiTomaso spent last season in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) with the St. Catharines Falcons where he was the highest scoring defenceman in the league with 72 points in 35 games. Prior to joining the Falcons, DiTomaso spent three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) between the Mississauga Steelheads, Saginaw Spirit, and Barrie Colts.

In 187 career OHL games, DiTomaso had 54 points including a career-high 22 points in 2014-15. He also played in 23 postseason games including 15 in 2015-16 during Barrie's run to the Eastern Conference final.

DiTomaso describes himself as a leader and an athletic player who is always willing to learn and develop all aspects of his game both on and off the ice.

The Etobicoke, Ont. native will enter the Business Management program starting this fall.
