2019 | Ryerson Rams vs. York Lions, Winter Homecoming
The Rams are fairly well acquainted with their cross-town opponents, the York Lions, who they’ve clashed with on many occasions over the past few seasons. The two teams finished tied in last year’s standings and would eventually meet in the playoffs where the Lions would sweep the second-round series to advance to the OUA semi-final.
Ryerson’s second-annual WOCO event will feature a bit of a twist this year. Last season, hundreds of York students make their way down to the Mattamy Athletic Centre to cheer on their team, and their enthusiasm was equally matched by that of Rams fans. This year’s Winter Homecoming will not be exclusive to men’s hockey, though, as five other Rams teams will be playing at home on January 19.
The puck is set to drop at 2:15 PM in this matinée matchup.
Friday, February 1,

The February school day matchup will be the university’s third of the year. The game will begin at 11:00 AM.
