By Jessica Pincente

TORONTO — Ryerson Rams men’s soccer lead assistant coach Kasy Kiarash has been named an Interim Video Analyst with Orlando City FC of Major League Soccer (MLS).

Kiarash will serve in the position for the duration of the 2019 MLS season while continuing his work with the Rams.

Kiarash spent two weeks working with the club during their pre-season training camp and was invited to remain in the position through the regular season. Working under assistant coach and Head performance analyst Guillermo Sanchez, Kiarash says he is excited to gain experience coaching alongside such knowledgeable staff members.

“It will be a great opportunity to learn from the entire coaching staff,” says Kiarash about the opportunity. “I really want to thank Head Coach, James O'Connor and Executive Vice President of Soccer Operations, Luiz Muzzi for giving me this opportunity to work with this great organization.”

Kiarash has served as an assistant coach with the Rams since 2014, currently entering into his sixth season in the position.

Orlando City FC will open up their regular season against New York City FC on March 2.
