ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Ryerson Rams women's fastpitch team concluded their inaugural season this past weekend after dropping a pair of games against the Brock Badgers.

The Rams fell 5-4 and 6-2 on the final weekend.

Despite injuries to key players, the Rams put in a valiant effort led by pitcher Kaylyn Shaughnessy. Down to one pitcher, Shaughnessy pitched both complete games and kept Ryerson in both games.

Ryerson's offence was led by Hayley Graham who went 4-for-7 over the weekend with two doubles, one triple and three RBIs.

Ryerson finished their inaugural season with a 7-15 record in 10th place in the OIWFA standings.
