TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams fastpitch team is proud to announce the addition of Dan Berlin and Rob McArthur as new assistant coaches for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Dan Berlin joins the Ryerson fastpitch coaching staff with over 25 years of softball and baseball coaching experience at all levels.  He recently graduated with a Master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine (CA) and he is currently the head coach for the national men's fastpitch team that will be competing in the Maccabi Games this summer.  His coaching philosophy is based on inclusion, inspiration and enthusiasm to build self-confidence in his players while creating a positive learning and playing environment for everyone involved.

Rob McArthur joins the Ryerson fastpitch coaching staff with over 30 years of playing and coaching experience. He has coached for over 12 years in the Brampton Blazers organization and for the last two years was the Assistant Coach for the Carleton University Ravens women's fastball team. Rob also pitched in several leagues throughout the GTA and is currently pitching in the North York men's fastball league.

The Rams are preparing for their second season of competition this fall and have already held a prospects camp in addition to bringing Dan and Rob into the fold. The season begins in early September.
