2016-17: Became the first player in program history to be named a U SPORTS First-Team All-Canadian... The fifth year guard was also named an OUA First-Team All-Star for the second straight season... Named the Ryersonian Male Athlete of the Year... Finished tied for fourth in the OUA and 12th in the country in scoring with 19.2 points per game... His 87.3% shooting from the free throw line was best in the OUA and second in Canada... Started all 19 of the Rams' conference games and led them with 31.5 minutes per game... His 132 field goals was third in the province... Finished with 134 total rebounds (12th in the OUA), 69 assists (seventh) and 39 steals (sixth)... Scored at least 10 points in all but one of his regular season games and 20 or more points in 10 games (including four straight in January 2017)... Recorded back-to-back double-doubles in wins over the University of Toronto Varsity Blues and Nipissing Lakers in November 2016... Named Ryerson's Male Athlete of the Week on November 14th, 2016 and January 16th, 2017… Started all three of the Rams' playoff games... His 16.3 points per game were second on the team while his ridiculous 9.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game were first and second in the OUA respectively... Scored 29 points and collected 12 rebounds to lead Ryerson to an 86-79 victory over the Carleton Ravens to secure the OUA banner for the second time in as many seasons… Averaged a team-high 34.3 minutes, 17.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game at the 2017 U SPORTS Men's Basketball Final 8... His 53 total points was second best in the tournament and his 18 total rebounds eighth... Scored 23 points in a 78-69 loss to the Carleton Ravens in the gold medal game on March 12th, 2017.
2015-16: His third season with the Rams... Named an OUA First Team All-Star, his third consecutive all-star selection... Led the OUA with a 92.2 free throw percentage and a sparkling 3.1 assist to turnover ratio... Finished second in team scoring with 15.1 points per game... Had eight games with 10 or more points and six games with 20 or more points... Recorded two double-doubles - 18 points, 12 assists in 97-81 win over Queen's on January 16, 2016 and 10 points, 11 rebounds in 70-68 win at Queen's on February 26, 2016... Scored a career-high 34 points in a 96-92 loss at Guelph on February 17, 2016... Recorded 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the 73-68 OUA Wilson Cup Championship win over Carleton on March 12, 2016... Had a game-high 25 points and added nine rebounds, four steals and three assists in CIS National quarterfinal win over UBC on March 17, 2016... Named a tournament all-star at the CIS National championship... A finalist for the D.H. Craighead Outstanding Contribution to Interuniversity Sport, Campus and Community Life award.
2014-15: Named an OUA Second-Team All-Star...Played in 17 of 19 regular season games and all six postseason contests in his second season as a Ram...Was third in team scoring with 12.8 points per game...His 53 assists ranked second on the team...Scored a career-high 31 points on February 20 against Queen's, pulled in a career-high 11 rebounds against Western on November 12 and recorded a career-high 9 assists on November 22 against Nipissing... Member of Canada's FISU Games team.
2013-14: Named an OUA Second-Team All-Star...Appeared in 18 games in his first season while averaging 18.1 minutes, placing him third on the squad in minutes per game...Third in team scoring with 10.3 points per game, second in team assists with 2.2 per game and 11th in the country with a 45.3 three-point field goal percentage...Netted a season-high 26 points against Carleton on February 1...Was Ryerson's Male Athlete of the Week on February 10.
Before Ryerson: Played 2012-13 season in Texas at Clarendon College (Division I National Junior College)... As a starter at Clarendon, averaged 8.9 points per game... Was a standout player at Blessed Mother Teresa C.S.S., averaging 23 points per game and posting a single game career high of 57 points... Played his club basketball with MUMBA and won a Division 1 OBA championship in 2012... The shooting guard is the cousin of former Ryerson Ram, Ryan McNeilly (2006-11).
