Goalkeeper Musolino signs with the Rams
TORONTO - Alannah Musolino was officially announced as the third commitment of the Ryerson Rams women’s soccer team 2018-19 recruiting class, named as the first goalkeeper to be brought onto the team.
Musolino, a Vaughan, Ont. native, joins the Rams from just up the street. The goalkeeper has played with the Vaughan Azzurri club for the last three seasons, competing in the Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL).
A graduate of St. Joan of Arc C.H.S. in Maple, Ont., Musolino captained both the senior girl’s soccer team and basketball team at her school. After a commendable senior year, she received multiple sport and academic honours, including the Athletic Appreciation Award and the Stewardship Graduation Award.
“I describe myself as an athlete who strives for excellence and is motivated to do my best,” says Musolino. “I can lead my team or myself in the right direction of achieving goals, as I stay focused, and dedicated towards them. I believe by working hard, one can achieve their best. I am always determined to complete whatever challenges lie ahead.“
Musolino will enter Ryerson’s Criminology program in the fall.
