Massachusetts native Mulligan named as Rams' fourth recruit
TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams women’s soccer team announced that Cammie Mulligan will take to the field for the Rams in August, named as the only international commitment of the 2018-19 recruiting class.
Mulligan, a native of Norton, Massachusetts, captained her high school varsity team at Bishop Feehan H.S. in 2017. A multi-sport athlete, Mulligan also captained her winter and spring track teams while earning statewide recognition for her skills.
Among her various honours, Mulligan was named the Top Female Scholar Athlete at Bishop Feehan in 2018, as well as Massachusetts’ Female Athlete of the Month in December 2018. A two-time Eastern Athletic Conference (EAC) all-star, Mulligan’s contribution to her school community goes far beyond those on the pitch.
A member of the National Honor Society, the French National Honor Society and the Art National Honor Society, Mulligan also served as the Vice President of her Student Council in 2017-18.
At the club level, Mulligan played with the FC Boston Bolts for the last two years. A defensive midfielder, Mulligan has received multiple honours for her outstanding play, including being named a Massachusetts All-State player in 2018.
Mulligan will enter Ryerson’s Creative Industries program in September, stating she chose Ryerson because of the “opportunity to study at a world-class university in a world-class city”.
